Visa for Mongolia. Check.

I’ve now got my visa for Mongolia. And it was quick! All visas are now done. What a relief! I can now go ahead with my Trans-Siberian travel plans. This is like the official go ahead in a way. Exciting!

I’m very aware of the fact that without visas (or with real visa delays), I’m stuck. Like when Azerbaijan refused my visa application two summers ago. I missed out on both Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan as a result, had to re-apply for my Uzbek visa, and entered Kazakhstan from the wrong end as I was travelling along the Silk Road.

RealRussia has done exactly what the said they would do – getting the Russian and Mongolian visas processed in three working days – and kudos to them for that! The Swedish travel specialist for the Trans-Siberian I contacted said I would need four weeks for these two visas if I did it in Stockholm. Four weeks I don’t have.

RealRussia has been very professional throughout. I recommend them to anyone who wants to travel on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
